Terms & Conditions

• KnowledgeSurge requires the student to be ready at the agreed upon time for in-vehicle appointments. 
• Participants must have a full G licence present for every lesson.
• KnowledgeSurge reserves the right to cancel the in-vehicle appointments on short notice due to the weather, or other circumstances beyond their control. 
• *The student will be certified online upon course completion with a minimum passing grade of 70% on all in-class and in-vehicle assessments.
• As mandated by the MTO, Ontario driving schools are not able to issue driver’s licence certificates. Instead, students must request a driver’s licence history (DLH) from their local vehicle licensing office ($12) not sure if this is needed
• Students will meet their in-vehicle instructor at our head office location in Barrie.
• KnowledgeSurge Institute Inc will charge $35.00 for dishonoured cheques.
• If an unforeseen circumstance arises, such as a death in the family and a student misses a lesson, the student will not be charged. If there are no extenuating circumstances, in-vehicle appointment cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a charge of the hourly rate of $125.00.
• Use of KnowledgeSurge Institute Inc’s truck will be provided for two road test evaluations as part of the base price. Should a student fail to pass their licence after two attempts then an hourly charge of $100 will be applied to future truck use during road tests.
• Instructional Hours can take place between 8:00am and 9:00pm as per program schedule.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

 

At KnowledgeSurge, every student receives a copy of our refund policy. This policy forms an integral part of the contract signed before commencing any programs. Additionally, our team members personally review the policy with each student to ensure full comprehension and agreement.
