Class F Licence

If you are looking to drive an ambulance or any regular bus with a maximum capacity of 24 passengers, you will require a Class F licence. A 15-passenger van is considered a bus and requires a Class F licence to drive. Those with a Class F licence may also drive any vehicle in Class G.

A person operates a driving simulator, gripping the steering wheel with both hands. The simulator displays a road with an "End of Exercise 1" sign. Their right index finger is pointing at a side screen, and the dashboard shows various controls and instruments.

Class F Program

Our Class F training program is occupation-specific, and lesson plans are flexible depending on how you wish to use the licence.

Our Class F Training Program includes 8 hours of one-on-one in-vehicle instruction broken down into two 4hr lessons, with a qualified instructor and the use of the vehicle for the Ministry road test. During the training, the instructor will review all required components to successfully pass the MTO road test, including Schedule 2, vehicle handling, backing, and general driving components.

For those who already have their Class F licence and are looking to operate an emergency vehicle, we have a program specifically for you! Ask us today about our Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) for Paramedics! This course focuses on remedial and refresher training for paramedics.
